Reporting to the Senior Content and Information Strategist, coordinates the Library's collection assessment and development activities, coordinate the selection, acquisition, maintenance and licensing of subscription based resources in a collaborative and participatory environment.
One fundamental responsibility is to assess curricular needs across the college and support effective teaching and research with the best and most cost-effective resources. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with publishers and vendors, manages the lifecycle of print serials and electronic resources, gathers information associated with potential new products and trials. Serve on Library committees, task forces, and working groups, engage in other duties as assigned.
Candidates must hold an ALA-accredited Masters degree in library or information science, or an equivalent combination of relevant advanced degree and experience.
