St. Olaf College, in Northfield, Minnesota, seeks an enthusiastic and creative individual for the position of Music and Fine Arts Librarian. Serving on the Research & Instruction Team, this position will play an instrumental role supporting the Fine Arts Division (Art and Art History, Dance, Music, and Theater), participating in the life and operations of the Halvorson Music Library, and contributing to both a highly successful information/digital literacy program and the Digital Scholarship Center at St. Olaf (DiSCO).

The Music and Fine Arts Librarian will foster and sustain the intellectual life and creative energy of the Music Library and of students working in the Fine Arts Division. This position will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to support a talented, dedicated, and driven student population, to cultivate undergraduate teaching skills and pedagogical innovations, and to build the knowledge necessary to shape library collections that support the curriculum.

The Music and Fine Arts Librarian will also work with a nimble, forward-looking, and creative team of librarians and instructional technologists who partner with faculty to support exciting advances in teaching, learning, and research, and who are dedicated to producing graduates who have the information and digital literacy skills necessary to ask meaningful questions across scholarly and civic conversations.
