I am in sort of a debate with our Communications department.  They are asking why does the Library need to publish an online newsletter twice a year, and still maintain a blog on the Library’s homepage, and have a Facebook presence.

I know that I receive newsletters from some of you and I enjoy reading them.  Does your Library maintain a blog and have a Facebook presence also?

Also–for those who do have newsletters, do you have problems getting the staff to write articles for the newsletter?  Do you have to constantly beg for an article?

Please contact me directly with your responses.  I have a meeting tomorrow with Communications and I would love to have some data to support my reasons for wanting a newsletter.

Thank you-

Darlene
